New Year & Writing

This post is going to be about my writing and some resolutions I have for the New Year (however, I don’t really do resolutions).

A few resolutions:
1.) Go on Holiday
2.) Get some books of mine published
(Even if it’s just one for a start)
3.) Opportunities.

As for my writing, I’ve got some other book ideas that I haven’t started yet because I’ve been mostly focusing on some of my other books/stories at the moment.

That I will most likely will continue writing even throughout the next year too.

My first play ”Moving on Up” I’ll continue writing too and might make it have 3 acts. So far, I like how it’s turning out and when it’s completed I’ll try to get it in Theatres and etc.

The List is one of my books I’m writing, and I’ll soon be writing chapter 11 soon. It’s a Mystery/Thriller and is about these two best friends Jessica and Hannah finding a list on a lamppost that determines the death of people with their names and ages being included.

-More writing, next year too 🙂
Yours Truly,
Lizzy

Christmas & Writing♡

Hello Everyone, this is just going to be a Christmas message from me with some mention of my writing.

I had a lovely Christmas, and loved my presents. The food was also great, and it was nice to spend it with family.

I hope everyone’s Christmas was great too!

With some of my books I’ve added more to them. And will continue with them next year, as there’s still many ideas I have.

I hope to try to complete more than one of my books next year .

Hopefully get one of them published too.

I will also like to hear how your Christmas was in the comments.

2nd book of mine: Completed?

This post is going to be about one of my books ”The Dark Side” and how I’ve now finished the last chapter, and will be writing up the epilogue.

The Dark Side is one of my books/stories and it took me a lot longer to finish off the last chapter as I wanted to add in a lot of action and sum it up.

Chapter 24 was the last chapter.

The book is a mystery/thriller with some suspense and romance. I originally had a different story idea with the same characters.

This gives me the time to focus on my other stories, and I’m just relieved and happy to know that this will be the second of my books that’s completed.

I liked the fact: that I had so much ideas for it.

Sometimes, a break was essential and that helped too.

Secrets, mystery and action are what you can find in my book.

You can read this story on my Wattpad page, it currently has 7.2k reads.

I may add more to this, but for now
Thanks for reading,

Wattpad Convention: My Experience

I attended a Wattpad London Convention today, and it was exciting and informative.

I’m always looking and trying to gain opportunities, so any events that I know about that are to do with writing and books interest me.

This was a great opportunity to see some Wattpad writers and get an insight into how they got published.
Some were self – published authors, and some were traditional published writers, and they all gave their views on both.

This was the last panel which was entitled: How do I get published?

Also, the first panel consisted of some popular writers giving out their views on: what they like about Wattpad, how they became popular, how to deal with negative criticism and more.

It was nice to be able to gain some understanding, of how their time on Wattpad helped them with gaining a fan-base and such great responses for their work.

The venue was held: in Foyles (a bookstore) on the 6th floor.

Some of the Wattpad writers were: Lindsay Clarke, Molly Night, Ammelia Scott, Taran Mathuru and more.

However, it’s given me an insight and more information to help get my books published.

I also met some other Wattpad users, like me.

Stay tuned, for a potential part 2

New Update: On Writing♡

Hello, everyone this will be a new update about my writing.

First of all, I’ve been continuing with my first play ”Moving on Up” and I’m currently on Act 2: Scene 1.

I’m still also writing my stories/books and so close to finishing off my book ”The Dark Side” and an epilogue will also be included.

Moving on Up is about a 16 year old boy Billy who tries to find himself when his best friend Lucy tells him she’s moving away.
It’s my first attempt at a play, so it’s  a start.

I love musicals so much, and will also want to have my plays acted out on stage.

Coming up with new ideas for more books/stories of mine.

One of the book titles I’ve come up with for another story of mine is ”Paparazzi” and is about a girl who becomes drawn into the lifestyle after previously hating them when one of her parents gets ridiculed and hounded by the press.

So, that’s just a few.
Thanks for reading.
